Dr. Paola SORIA
Welcome to the site of my orthodontic practice in Paris!
I am Dr. Paola Soria, specialist orthodontist, based in the 8th arrondissement. We care for children, adolescents and adults. The aim of our orthodontic treatments is at the same time:
- Aesthetics: in order to obtain a beautiful harmony of the smile through the best possible dental alignment
- Functional: in order to ensure that dental hygiene is facilitated, to preserve inflammations due to poor positioning of the teeth and to obtain a good masticatory function.
To do this, we work with different techniques: transparent aligners, lingual orthodontics (internal braces), and external braces (ceramic or metal).
We start with an initial consultation to define a personalized treatment plan adapted to your request.
This site will allow you to better understand orthodontics: care,
reimbursement, ideal age to start, care for children, etc. You will also find advice and information on the latest innovations in dentofacial orthopedics and the use of aligners or fixed appliances.
I will be delighted to welcome you to my office in Paris and to accompany you towards a harmonious smile.

Orthodontic Treatment FAQ
It is a technique to slightly reduce the thickness of the enamel between the teeth to save space in cases of dental congestion
Teeth move throughout life despite the alignment achieved following orthodontic treatment. To maintain the result obtained as long as possible, a restraint is put in place: most often the placement of a thread on the inner surface of the front teeth combined with passive aligners to be worn at night.
Under the age of 16, orthodontics is partly covered by social security and the mutual insurance company takes over.
After the age of 16, social security does not cover anything and you should ask your mutual insurance company to find out their reimbursement schedule for your contract.
Special feature for cases requiring surgery: social security partially covers 1 semester of orthodontics
No, no age limit
