Case of space closure

Expansion case
We can note the narrowness of the upper jaw which does not cover the lower jaw. By widening (expanding) the upper jaw we were able to align the patient's teeth and allow for better function and harmony of the smile.

Significant overhang
Here is the case of an adolescent who has a shift (overhang) in the direction of the profile of the upper jaw compared to the lower jaw. We were able to correct this discrepancy and restore good function, especially the front teeth, for this patient.

Surgical case: overhang offset correction
In adulthood, there is no longer any growth in the jaws, and sometimes the jaw mismatches are such that orthodontic treatment combined with surgery as for this patient is necessary.

Orthodontic Treatment FAQ
It is a technique to slightly reduce the thickness of the enamel between the teeth to save space in cases of dental congestion
Teeth move throughout life despite the alignment achieved following orthodontic treatment. To maintain the result obtained as long as possible, a restraint is put in place: most often the placement of a thread on the inner surface of the front teeth combined with passive aligners to be worn at night.
Under the age of 16, orthodontics is partly covered by social security and the mutual insurance company takes over.
After the age of 16, social security does not cover anything and you should ask your mutual insurance company to find out their reimbursement schedule for your contract.
Special feature for cases requiring surgery: social security partially covers 1 semester of orthodontics
No, no age limit
